Al Amir Kamal Farag website www.alamirkamalfarag.com has recently launched a Campaign called "Black and White" for the recovery of old photos, which were limited to black and white only, the Campaign was characterized by a special charm.
The Supervisor of the site Amani Yassin said that: "this media campaign aimed at evoking beautiful worlds stored by old photos, embodying times, cultures, and social life as a part of our history that we cherish. It is also considered as an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of black and white photos, which gives you peaceful and quiet mind, besides it calls for contemplation. "
She added that: "the objectives of the campaign are also collecting rare photographs and documentations to keep them from being lost, in terms of information to be the source of all periods of history, and also be a living legacy of generations have dealt with."
She explained, that "the campaign will publish rare photographs that have not been published before, that witness some special aspects and peculiar forms of the life of the pioneers and famous in Egypt and all over the world, for the purpose of enriching the community memory, providing an archive of old pictures that may be useful for both media and public."
She pointed out that "the objectives of the campaign – besides keeping the scarcity of old photos in the search engines, as participants will be able to provide old and rare images on the global search engines, characterized by artistic quality, in order to be available for everyone, and the benefit of any person”.
She also showed that the campaign will work on the restoration of a number of old available photos, but you need to renovate, to make them as close to their original status, with the participation of a number of designers.
