The real revolution | Alamir Kamal Farag

Revolution doesn’t mean replacing a president with another, or a regime with another , but it is a radical change in the state approach . This change of approach is inevitable , simply because if it was correct form then begging , there would be no need for revolution.

But for sorry. Some countries did great revolutions and spent for its favor so many martyrs and injured victims , besides huge losses. And after their revolution has succeeded,  it is forced to go on the same way and making the same mistakes as if nothing had happened.

Mubarak’s political approach wasn’t be correct. so The Egyptian people revolted against it , which means that this approach is one of the factors leaded to throw this regime . Then, how could we make the same mistake again?

We are no longer going to deal with the concept of “subordination” . To make it more convincing; let’s give examples about profits and losses. The Egyptian people have experienced following the American policy for the last thirty years during the rule of Mubarak. What did we gain?

On the social scale, poverty has increased by 40% , the debt ceiling left, the social problems increased, and the economic support provided by America to afford enough food, beside the amount of exported wheat that has been doubled – most of it from America – till Egypt has been the first country to export wheat.

On the military scale; Egypt is captured by the weapon, and of cause there are restrictions as a result. The weapons Egypt get from America as a military aids are restricted, simply because the source has your military map and spare parts you may need , besides at any moment it can say: I’m sorry.

On the political scale : After the Egyptian decision had reached its peak and independence at Abdel-Nasser era when he faced colonialism and announced the nationalization of the canal. This strong situation turned to be the opposite at Mubarak time, he became a mere follower to America in almost everything.

This following to the American policy was very harmful to all the Arab issues, especially the Palestinian one. during these years, the Palestinians lost more than what they lost for 50 years of  occupation.

All that had its destructive effects. These 30 years could turn Egypt to a developed country, but rather it added more backwardness to it , and to prove it lets compare between economy at Mubarak’s era and at king Farouk so the difference gets clear.

Today, and after 30 years, two revolutions in which Egypt lost thousands of martyrs ,it is impossible that we didn’t get the lesson yet. It is a disgrace to get rid of occupation and be faithful to it latter.

Our revolution in Egypt was not was not only against Mubarak’s regime or the more tyrant Mursi’s one, but the real problem is that America constructs its strength on the weakness of the others.

America cares only for its interests in Egypt, so it was shocked after the impeachment of Mubarak.

The conspiracy against Egypt now became more obvious, it can’t be just addresses and mere expectations. What Gen. Hugh Shelton, the former chairman of the joint Chiefs of Staff, said in his interview on the U. S. network Fox News that Egyptian Defense Minister Abdul Fatah Sisi detected a U. S. plot to support the ruling Muslim Brotherhood amid unprecedented unrest. He also added : " Had Gen. Al Sisi not deposed Morsi, Egypt would have today become another Syria …" .

U. S. decision to lessen the military aids to Egypt reflects how U. S. was affected by the great revolution of 30th June. The strongest government can't believe that the Egyptians destroyed their dream of dominating the Middle East.

The Imperial policy of U. S. deals with people as if they were its own slaves, its own prisoners that even after being released; are watched for ever and can be imprisoned again with a click.

Nowadays, we have a historic chance, that might never come again, to get rid of subordination and get back the Egyptian Nation, or lose the chance and stay slaves for ever .
