The choice of ministers in Egypt has always puzzled me. I want to know first how to choose the prime minister? And what are the necessary criteria and features that he should be characterized with ? After that; what are the main steps to choose the government that consists of the most important ministries at all to demonstrate a whole country?

Being a minister is not just an honorary position that offer authority, power, prestige, and body guards for 24h\day. It is actually an executive position with a very high importance, that is responsible to meet the needs of the people.

This job, especially in the service ministries that are closely related to peoples’ life - like the ministries of education and health for example, is responsible for the happiness or the misery of millions of citizens. He is expected to offer a better service, plan and work for a better future. This man, the minister, may get the peoples’ love and support if he was successful in achieving his job , and may get their curses if he failed. Actually the ministers are the main reason of the misery of this country.

I want to know the reason why some governments fail to solve the chronical problems of a country. I am so curious about this issue, i want to know who invented this system of government? And what is the first government in history? And did that system really work?

A friend of mine once told me that the choice of ministers depends on some personal impressions, he even gave example on a minister who continued in his position after the reshuffle only for a strange reason. They decided to keep him in position only for sympathy with him because of the death of his daughter.

Another friend told me - but i’m not sure about the evidence- that a governor has been chosen only for expressing high respect and flattery for the president.

There is a big confusion about the how the ministers are chosen. Is it based on the good reputation? Or the personal acquaintance? Is there a list of the nominees for that position? And how they are compared? And what by chance the brother of a minister is also chosen to be a minister, and his nephew became a minister, and also his cousin !! And in some cases the son of a former minister may also be chosen for the position.

Is ministry become a kind of genes specific to a family? Is Egypt become empty from the genius minds that make us choose one family to make them ministers? Or the higher authority always chooses only who flatter? Why there are ministers in position for about 20 years or may be more? On the other hand, there are some ministers who took the position only for few months? Some times ministers are chosen for assigning a ministry that is not related to his domain of specialty. Only few ministers have good repetition, and many of them leave a bad memory for people.

 There is no rule to choose a minister. Some times they are chosen only for good reputation of personal acquaintance. May be their names are inspired from newspapers or relatives.

The current regime has proved its big failure in solving the problems. Some times the president makes a statement, but the government ignores it completely, they act as a separate entity. Even the rules never be implemented.

At this point i would like to know if the government system has failed to solve the problems of the country in spite of getting many chances to, why don’t we seek another form of government and ruling system?

Why don’t we create a substitute for the current system to get rid of this circle of failure? May be we can create an administration system, like that of companies, to employ some people who can be responsible for the issues of the country.

Don’t panic, the suitable administration system will be picked according to specific conditions and criteria. It will in public and completely under the supervision of law. A company will be responsible for administrating the health issues, another will be responsible for education, etc.

Why do we find it so strange! In the most democratic countries, the international companies participate in the process of choosing a president and support him with their authority and money. In some countries, the president is chosen according to some sectarian .  At least, in this circumstances, the choice will be in public. And if you don’t like or if you are not convinced with “company” to do the administration, you should consider that “Microsoft” Financial equal the balance of five countries.

The supposed administration country will work according to a schedule of achievements that must be within a specific time. At least if the company failed in its mission, it will be subjected to pay fines and penalities for their errors or neglect. It would be more systematic, specially when there were a crime and every one ignore it.

But when considering the most highly ministries, like the ministry of defence and Ministry of the Interior, that cannot be controlled under the system i supposed. We can consider them as exceptions and hurry to specialize the other ministries. May be we would inspire the other countries to carry the idea on.

It may help to stop corruption, briberies, and theft. The only criterion will be efficiency, which is the same reason of the success of the private companies. I know that this idea is hard to be carried besides it makes us feel bad about the status of our country. It may be funny as well.
