National film award winner, author and activist Neena Gupta said that better option for people is to find solutions to their own problems and don’t wait for someone else to come and solve the problems. She was speaking at the debate namely 'Sach Kahom Tho' conducted at Book Forum 1 of the Sharjah International Book Festival. She spoke about her acting career, writing and social work. "If you are successful everything will look good and beautiful. If you are a failure everything will not feel good. Confidence is important to be successful in life. Sincerity is equally important" - she said. She said that she felt great joy when she said no to something in life. It is an expression of one's own attitude. Telling the truth is often dangerous. She also mentioned that it comes from life experiences. She said that she has been typecast quite a bit in her acting career. People don't think about awards, only about acting. She has won awards for his good acting, but she has not got the best roles since then. During my college studies, I have acted in many male roles in dramas. It was because he had a good body height. Acting regularly in plays helped him get into the National School of Drama. She was able to meet Elgazi there. Gupta also explained that Elgazi encouraged him to enter the acting career. In many matters related to women, the implementation of what is written in the book is not so easy. It cannot be said that there has been a significant change in the standard of living of Indian women. Less than 1 percent begin to see changes. Indian women used to do housework only. But today it is not like that, there is a job, along with the housework to be done. It adds weight to their lives. When asked if she could sum up her life in one sentence, her response was, "Move on." He said that his life is moving forward. This is a time when women's education is very necessary. Education will help to survive the crisis. His parents gave him a good education. I was able to do up to Ph.D. Another important message she said was that women should not smoke in public if they want to survive in the film industry. Often we do many things by trusting our friends. However, all of that can be harmful later when it comes to the public. It will cost a lot. They gave such advice by sharing the bad experience of what they did. Do not make such mistakes. She shared that her daughter is acting well. There is a chapter in their book about the casting couch. However, they opined that the benefits or harms of casting couch depend on the individual. Neena Gupta presented her positions as bravely as she wrote. Gulf News Entertainment Editor Manjusha was the moderator. Neena Gupta answered questions from the audience timely participating in book signing session.
